Mulberry hill is the American colonial home built by Joan and Daryl Lindsay.
This is where Joan Lindsay wrote the novel Picnic at hanging rock, mulberry hill was bequeathed to the national trust with a collection of art and fine furniture.
It also has handmade bricks from captain cooks cottage in Yorkshire.
A valued gift to sir Daryl Lindsay from his friend AND NEIGHBOUR SIR Russell Grimwade, who in 1934 presented the original brick cottage to Victoria for its re erection in the Fitzroy gardens.
